There's a new idea being sniffed around about taxing people more on their insurance if they have unsafe sex, smoke, drink, are obese etc. Now I agree with the premise that there should be a premium, because if you build your house on a fault line your insurance will go up too.
BUT, I don't like the Gov't regulating it, I think the private sector should.

Now... if the government is going to tax people... for having sex, then what else will they tax, watching TV, oh wait... they already do!
What next, are they going to tax a "fap" tax, or something?

If it gives them money then probably.

Japan already has a "fat tax" for obese people. A lot of Asian nations are considering it, I hear. It was one of the cost and funding ideas we toyed with for our debate case.
But there already is a hefty tax on cigarettes and tobacco. So I don't know if taxing people to smoke them would go over well if they have to pay a tax just to buy them in the first place.
The thing about unsafe sex though is that it's a private thing, usually from either an illegal prostitute or between a couple at home, so how's the government going to regulate that one?

They'll regulate it by STDs in doctors' offices
